Frequently Asked Questions

Which batteries can this 60-watt solar panel charge?

This solar panel is specifically designed for EXP48PRO and EXP96PRO batteries. For other batteries or devices, check the manufacturer's voltage, current and connector requirements before connecting.

How much space does the panel need when packed and unfolded?

The folding solar panel measures 16 x 8.5 x 1 inches when packed and 33.5 x 16 x 0.3 inches when open. It weighs 3.7 pounds.

Can the solar panel and control box get wet?

The panel surfaces are waterproof, but the control box is not. Protect the control box in the pouch from water and wipe the panel with a soft, damp cloth when cleaning.

How long does solar charging take for the compatible batteries?

Estimated full-charge times are 4.5 hours for the EXP48PRO and 9 hours for the EXP96PRO in optimal conditions. Keep the panel correctly oriented in full sun; changing sunlight and panel angle can increase charging time.

How should I position the panel for charging?

Open the solar panel on a clean, dry, flat surface in direct sunlight and point it directly at the sun. Check the control-box indicator, connect the compatible battery, and disconnect the battery or device when charging is complete.
