BMW diagnostic scanner with included BMW Scanner v1.4.0 software and USB cable connects the device to a Windows computer for vehicle diagnostics, data reading and supported coding functions. It is intended for BMW 3 Series E46, 5 Series E39, 7 Series E38, X3 E83, X5 E53, Z8 E52 and Z4 E85 vehicles.

The software can determine chassis, model, engine, gearbox and equipment, search vehicle units, and read identification data, odometer value, VIN, programming information and diagnostic trouble codes.
