An auto-darkening welding lens helps you follow the arc and puddle while keeping the joint in view. The TrueArc HD Series combines true-color viewing with a bright 2.5 light state, making it easier to position the electrode and check fit-up between welds.
Two independent arc sensors switch the lens into its fixed dark shade in less than 0.5 milliseconds. Solar power supports normal operation without replaceable batteries. Select shade 9, 10 or 11 according to your welding process, amperage and working conditions.
The classic 2 × 4¼-inch format fits many welding hoods built for that lens size; verify your hood dimensions and lens clearance before ordering. The HD Series is not recommended for TIG welding.

Is the HD lens suitable for TIG welding?
No. TrueArc does not recommend the HD Series for TIG welding and recommends its VPro Series for that process.
